At the heart of every great business is a bold idea, a deep purpose, and a fearless leader. For Julisa White, founder of True Divine Xpressions (TDX), her business is more than just a brand — it's a platform for creativity, empowerment, and transformation.

A Legacy of Gratitude Turned into Purpose

The story of TDX began with an unexpected gift. While Julisa was a student at Winthrop University, her mother helped a local T-shirt printer make a connection that changed the course of his life — and hers. As a thank-you, he offered to mentor Julisa, gifted her a business license, and even offered to sell her his company. Though she couldn’t afford the purchase at the time, that moment planted a seed.

Julisa began investing in herself, purchasing equipment piece by piece and printing shirts part-time. That humble beginning has since blossomed into a full-time business that now offers custom apparel, branding services, content creation, and one-on-one business coaching.

From the Classroom to the Creative Space

With a background in education and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, Julisa naturally integrates learning and leadership into her entrepreneurial journey. Entrepreneurship became the vehicle for her to teach on her own terms — through coaching, youth workshops, and community events. Her passion for helping others show up confidently in their purpose is central to everything she does.

BELL: Fueling the Next Chapter

Julisa’s growth journey with BELL has been a pivotal part of her success. She participated in BELL’s bootcamp and intensive program, and was one of four inaugural BELL Prize winners — receiving $25,000 in business funding. That investment allowed her to upgrade her equipment, triple her weekly shirt production, and turn her growing hustle into a thriving enterprise.

From T-Shirts to Transformation

TDX has evolved from custom apparel into a multifaceted platform offering DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers for other apparel brands, entrepreneurship workshops, youth camps, and events like the Boss Lady Tea Party, which brought together over 40 women for empowerment, business growth, and sisterhood.

Most recently, Julisa co-led a free AI workshop at Clinton College alongside community leader Tynetta “The Tech Auntie” Moore, teaching entrepreneurs and creatives how to use tools like ChatGPT to enhance their work. These efforts reflect TDX’s mission to equip, inspire, and educate through every touchpoint.

What’s Next for TDX

Julisa is now expanding her DTF services and launching an online store to streamline bulk ordering. She’s also working on an ebook for parents of kidpreneurs, aimed at helping families support young entrepreneurs in meaningful, practical ways. And yes — the next Boss Lady Tea Party is already in the works!
