Rock Hill State of Mind: The Alumni Experience is a community-led Homecoming gathering created by Winthrop University alumni to celebrate connection, culture, and the shared experiences that continue long after graduation.

Inspired by the spirit of Homecoming tailgates, this elevated evening brings alumni together in a central space designed for meaningful conversation, great music, and authentic fellowship. Rather than a traditional gala, the experience embraces the energy of a celebration while creating opportunities to reconnect, build new relationships, and honor the legacy of Black alumni who have helped shape the Winthrop community.
